Acapulco Hotels
Only your budget will determine which of
the Hotels in Acapulco you and your friends will occupy during
your Spring Break. There are many choices and many
different areas to choose from in making this decision. As
this is Spring Break, however, you will want to be close to the
action. So, most the the hotels reviewed here are located
in the Hotel Zone, along Acapulco Bay. We have included in
our reviews those Acapulco hotels known as Spring Break "hot
spots."
One
point to make before we really get into the reviews, Acapulco
Hotels have amazing pool parties. Really, they outdo
just about everywhere else we have seen. Lots of games,
drinks, and people watching everywhere you turn. Just take
a look at the photo! If you stay at one of the hotels that
cater to Spring Breakers, you can expect a daytime scene like
this just about every day of the week.
Hyatt Regency Acapulco
The
Hyatt Regency Acapulco is
located just 20 minutes from the Acapulco Airport. It is located right
in the middle of the Nightlife Area and sits on the Bay of
Acapulco. Almost all of the 640 rooms in this hotel offer
private balconies and spectacular ocean views. The hotel is
truly a resort in itself with two swimming pools, two bars and
three restaurants. The hotel also has a spa, salon and gym, to
keep you looking your best on Spring Break, not to mention
access to a 24-hour doctor, just in case you overdo it on the
beach or in the club.
For those looking to improve
their golf or tennis game while on Spring Break, the hotel also
has a private tennis club and a nine-hole golf course just five
minutes from the hotel. In addition, the Hyatt also offers
wireless Internet access in the lobby and bars, just in case you
need to check your e-mail. While the traditional spring breaker
may find this five star hotel a little upscale for Spring Break,
five minutes of poolside drink service and a power massage will
make you forget all about any hesitation you had walking in the
lobby. The staff provides incredible service, so don’t forget to
take advantage of the laundry and dry cleaning services before
you go home. This is truly living it up.
Hotel Emporio Continental
If
your idea of Spring Break includes swimming up to an incredible
bar sitting in the middle of a huge winding pool framed by
plentiful pool loungers and beautiful gardens, the Hotel Emporio
Continental is your hotel. This hotel has three pools, one of
which winds around the property and has (you guessed it) – a
slide and a bar. With 420 ocean front rooms looking unto a
private beach, you may never leave this hotel. If you do,
however, you will find you are in the middle of Acapulco’s
Nightlife District. This hotel also has 24 hour medical staff to
attend to everything from your sunburn to your hangover.
This is one of the very most popular of the Acapulco Hotels
for Spring Break.
Playa Suites
The
Playa
Suites Hotel loves Spring Breakers so much it hosts a
wonderful selection of “Spring Break Specials” from 10 am to 2
pm everyday during Spring Break. During Spring Break expect
almost all the hotels’ 502 rooms to be filled with Spring
Breakers. The hotel is comprised of two towers with hotel
rooms that feature one-bedroom suites with a sunken living room
and private balcony.
The separate
living room provides the perfect location for a Spring Break
pre-party and the balconies offer terrific views of the
ocean. This hotel also offers a swim up pool bar. The
restaurants are also worth noting, as the hotel is one of the
many Acapulco hotels that offer an all-inclusive Spring Break
package.
Calinda Beach Acapulco
This
hotel is also a favorite of Spring Breakers with daily poolside
giveaways and specials just for Spring Breakers. You'll know
this hotel from afar by its cylindrical shape. It is an
older hotel, with older furnishings, but the rooms are large and
comfortable. The hotel has two pools that become filled
with Spring Breakers during the day. The Calinda Beach Acapulco
is a high-rise circular tower whose 357 hotel rooms provide
Spring Breakers with an incredible panoramic view of the Ocean
and City. It is in the middle of the Spring Break action and
will allow you to take awesome pictures of Acapulco’s memorizing
sunsets. In addition, you will find all the great clubs and
restaurants are just steps away from the hotel.
El Cano
El
Cano is a luxury hotel located on a private beach, just minutes
away from all the best clubs in Acapulco.
This means things will be more quiet around this hotel.
Perfect for those wanting a little R&R while on break. The
hotel has not one, but four Jacuzzis, not to mention a
cool mirror pool built just for Spring Break sunbathers to keep
cool while getting an awesome tan. The hotel also has a spacious
pool, but the real action is on the beach as the beach
volleyball court is never empty. You will also find an
incredible spa and salon when you want to wash off the sand and
get ready to go all out in and Acapulco Club.
