The beach of South Padre Island

South Padre Island is a great place for any college student's Spring Break. It is very accessible from anywhere in the United States, especially from the ultra cold upper midwest. PLUS the beaches are wonderful.

The weather is great, the bars are fantastic, and the place has a lot of college students. Some of the more fabulous bars include Chaos, Kelly's Irish Pub, Island Oasis, Louie's Backyard, and Club Pelican West.

There is also marvelous sea fishing, shopping, birding, and many other unusual pursuits for the break. You could even check out the marine mammals at Sea Ranch Marina Dolphin Watch! And then unwind with a massage at Center Pivot Massage and Yoga Studio.

But don't forget the beaches! Jim's and Sunny's Beach Rentals are but two of the good places to check out for all your seaside needs. But DO NOT miss the beaches! Think sun, boogie boards, paddle boats, good times, and lots of warm sunshine. What better for a South Padre Island spring break?!
